This graph represents the asking price versus the selling price of homes sold in the four major counties* of the Capital Region between January 1, 2008 and March 31, 2008
The graph shows that sellers are nearly unanimously getting somewhat less than their asking price for the year to date, on average 96% of their asking price but with some as low 70% of the asking price in the higher and lower price ranges.
